We're Doug and Jesy and we're who you talk with when you call Advantage Inc., or when you make a purchase, or when you email or even facebook message.
A little bit about us is we are a family owned business, married and enjoy working together.
When Doug came to me and asked if I would want to start a business with him and base it on
customer service, I just had to say yes.
Customer Service has been our priority since we started this company and that won't change!
When Doug damaged his arm we started our online store with that same concept in mind.

Who are we? We're Doug and Jesy Shepard and we've owned and operated Advantage Inc. in Venice, FL since 2002. Doug's been an embroidery technician since 1992, he's a tech who has always listened to our customers in what they need and want in an embroidery machine.
Doug worked hard to create a machine that our customers asked for and need. A great work horse that will work with you and for you. One that you have no need to babysit or worry if the product will come out looking less than perfect. He built a machine that you can rely on, and made sure all owners know they can rely on him (and me) for all their needs.
Our Blue Sky is also vastly different from any other machine on the market, but we'll tell you about that in other areas. They may look similar on the outside, but the Blue Sky is built inside to Doug's specifications. Ensuring a work horse that will do all you want while creating top line embroidery.

We've recently had a bank tell their customer they couldn't find our business through the Florida State ran site of Sunbiz.org. This concerns us greatly as the bank that said this, simply did not know how to use the Sunbiz.org site!

Fictitious aka DBA (Doing Business As) are used for creating extra names under your main corporation. We use them as our full name Advantage Embroidery Inc. caused confusion with many as they thought we were running embroidery and calling for embroidery to be done.
Under Fictitious names we also are now listed under Blue Sky Embroidery Machines
Banks will tell you not to reach out if they cannot find a business name. However, in this case, they were incorrectly searching the site from the first page which does not search for business names.
